Our state‑of‑the‑art BMT unit comprises 12 HEPA‑filtered positive pressure isolation rooms with laminar airflow, ensuring an ultra‑clean environment essential for transplant patients. The unit is staffed 24/7 by trained transplant nurses and intensivists. We have performed over 300 successful transplants for conditions like multiple myeloma, AML, ALL, and aplastic anaemia. Our unit maintains a low infection rate of <5% and a transplant‑related mortality rate of <8%, comparable to international centres.
Equipped with a Varian TrueBeam linear accelerator with advanced capabilities for IMRT, IGRT, SBRT, and RapidArc. Our suite includes a dedicated CT simulator for planning and a high‑dose‑rate (HDR) brachytherapy unit for gynaecological and prostate cancers. We treat over 40 patients daily with sub‑millimetre accuracy, using respiratory gating for lung tumours and 6D couch for precise positioning. Our radiation physicists perform weekly QA to ensure dose accuracy within 1%.
NABL accredited lab offering comprehensive genomic profiling. Our Ion Torrent next‑generation sequencing platform tests for 500+ cancer‑related genes. We perform flow cytometry for leukaemia immunophenotyping, PCR for BCR‑ABL and JAK2 mutations, FISH for cytogenetics, and immunohistochemistry for PD‑L1, HER2, and hormone receptors. Turnaround time for most tests is 3‑5 days. We participate in external quality assurance programmes with the Royal College of Pathologists (UK).
